Carnival of Colour

Yesterday was Chinese New Year. While walking through the city I could hear the rhythmic drumming of the dragon dance. And I could see the tail end of the hoards of people trying to catch a glimpse of the dragon. I didn't get to see the dragon myself. It always seemed to be just out of my sight, masked by the throngs of spectators. Still, there was a carnival of colour all around, left on the street and growing from the ground. Enough to make me feel quite festive.

Yellow and Orange are a stunning combination
It's not quite Mardi Gras yet
Beautiful bouquets
Redfern Station
Someone lost something
Leftover confetti

Happy Wandering!
