Magical Alleyway

Every so often I will be walking around and stumble on something so fantastic that it changes the outlook on the whole day. Yesterday was one of those days. It started out badly -- I waited an hour to have my blood taken, an hour to deposit my rent into the bank (because it had to clear immediately), I waited half an hour for a bus. I went to the library and found out that not only had my card expired, I didn't have sufficient ID to renew it. I had a sudden, ravenous fit of hunger in a part of the city where the only thing to eat were horrific and greasy sausage rolls. I ate said sausage roll and proceeded to be haunted by it for hours.

And then, cranky and tired and burping up greasy pork and lardy pastry, I came across this alleyway in Chinatown:

I'm not sure if it's temporary or permanent, or why the hell it's there but that's what makes it so special.

Happy wandering!

  1. hey Nicole, I saw your post on Pyrex Collective and followed you here. Aren't those decorations great? We went in to see the Harry Potter exhibition last Saturday at the Powerhouse and stumbled across them too! Julie B

    1. I just love this place, it's so super cool!

Thank you so much for leaving me comments and feedback. I really appreciate it, in fact it makes my day!
